KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and own world-class logistics standards, processes, KPIs and benchmarks

• Develop the world-class logistics (WCL) playbook with a specific focus on ice creams operations and continuouslyimprove it, to stay ahead of the industry 

• Establish the WCL maturity assessment process and define metrics and scorecard for measuring WCL compliance and use the same to continuously improve operations 

• Train the market logistics teams on the WCL framework, assessment process and improvement tools

• Lead the assessment for the key sites and use it for training the trainers

• Govern the WCL transformation journey, review the assessment results and improvement action plan, monitorprogress and provide support, as needed.

• Monitor the service and cost benefit delivery from WCL deployment by linking to DR improvement, savings and margin improvement programs.

• Most importantly, ensure that WCL doesn’tjust remain just as a concept, but is deployed widely, seen at the core of our culture and mindset, and used to unlock tangible business benefits.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in Supply chain roles, with atleast 1 stint in a logistics operations role

• Passionate to “Be the Best” and continuously “raise the bar” 

• Equally, Pragmatic to phase out the transformation into logical steps and ensure smooth change management and quick deployment

• Externally connected and staying ahead of the curve at the forefront of industry
