JOB PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Strategy Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of strategic supply chain initiatives that drive value, efficiency, and competitive advantage. Working closely with the Supply Chain Strategy Manager, this role focuses on analyzing data, identifying (market) trends, and supporting key transformation projects across the end-to-end supply chain. The position is instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, and future-fit supply chain strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Supply Chain Strategy Manager in driving key strategic programs, including End-to-End Network Studies, Design to Value and Supply Chain Competitor Intelligence.
Conduct research and data analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and supply chain transformation.
Assist in developing strategic frameworks, business cases, and presentations to support decision-making at senior leadership levels.
Work on digital enablers and analytical tools to enhance supply chain visibility and performance measurement.
Support the execution and tracking of supply chain transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, procurement, manufacturing, logistics) to drive supply chain improvements.
Within the supply chain space, monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to provide actionable insights.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
The key elements needed for this position are:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
A passion for supply chain strategy, digital transformation, and business optimization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to present insights in a clear, structured, and impactful way.
A proactive mindset with a keen interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in supply chain strategy, consulting, or analytics (preferably in FMCG or a multinational environment).
Experience in data analytics, financial modelling, and strategic planning is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of supply chain analytics, cost modelling, and optimization methodologies.
Exposure to digital tools and emerging supply chain technologies is an advantage.
