Role and Responsibilities:
The manager leads the Deodorant Indonesia R&D program, 5S and simplification agenda and Digital agenda for PC Indonesia. The role requires him/her to manage the R&D team, ensures product compliance, and supports innovation and quality improvement aligned with the Planet Positive agenda.
Main Accountabilities:
- To lead Deodorant Indonesia R&D programme
- To lead PC Indonesia Make it profitable and simplification initiatives
- To lead PC Indonesia Digital
- To manage, coach and develop the Deodorant R&D team ensuring good collaboration with the capability R&D team (pack, process, Regulatory affairs) and with the cross functional team
- Responsible for all technical contents in specification, artwork, communication, claims and demos maximizing the use of digital tools where possible
- Ensure full product compliance with Unilever guidance and local regulatory guidance
- Drive value improvement programmes to support margin improvement through smart product saving, iGP and complexity reduction
- R&D Business partner to Indonesia Deodorant team, Acting as the first point of contact for all issues related to Deodorant
- Lead and Drive Quality improvement programmes
- Land innovation projects with speed with good interaction with BG R&D team.
- Support Planet positive agenda in Deodorant
- To comply with Unilever Code of Business Principles and all SHE and QA policies including the support of product claims and risk management
Key Skills and Experience:
Required skills include deodorant formulation technology, innovation project management, strategic thinking, problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management, with a preference for candidates with deodorant R&D or supply chain background.
