Main Responsibilities

  • Drive Knowledge Based Selling agenda in Fabric Expert category with competitive advantages to help our customer and consumer understand well our products

  • Lead local Marketing support activities on product registration to Ministry of Health, technical claims discussion, technical demonstration and product activation for Fabric Expertinnovation and fast-track projects by coordinating the inputs from cross functions.

  • Responsible for the approval of visual for packaging, advertising clearance, competitor challenge in local language from technical and regulation compliance point of view.

  • To coordinate and engage with Consumer Insight, Marketing, Legal, and Regulatory to manage local claims forum for Fabric Expertcategory

  • To monitor and build good understanding on consumer behaviors, competitor movement/challenges and product competitor analysis. 

  • Lead and coordinate appraisal test for local project innovation/renovation by liaising with GDC (Global Development Center) & RDC (Regional Development Center) team on the methodologies and ensuring can be adapt locally. 

  • Actively provide technical R&D support on relevant topic and scientific references for IHF (Indonesia Hygiene Forum) events (webinar, press conferences) and social media contents (Unilever website & Instagram).

  • Lead an active competitive benchmarking to collect insights, opportunities, and new ideas and turn it into actionable plan to drive product improvements in Fabric Expert category.

  • Manage sensory expert panel (trained or screen panel) inevaluationi.e. fragrance intensity, foam etc.

  • Conducting analysis to better understand competition product from various angles like product, proposition & pack.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science major.

  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in FMCG as R&D formulation & processing (WK), technical project management (WK) and/or consumer research (BA) is an advantage.

  • Good understanding / working knowledge on technical claims

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences.

  • The ability to communicate and build effective working relationships across functions, regions and with partners inside and outside Unilever.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creativity in respect to developing new ideas, claims and demos.

  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity. 

  • Strong organization skills

Skill

  • Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills that support well-developed skills in presenting complex information, both visually and in writing

  • Good data analytics skill to gather, analyze and evaluate a variety of data sets

  • Good understanding & experience in using Minitab or other statistical tools to generate data from paneltest.
