JOB PURPOSE
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to stretch his/her technical and leadership skills and take his/her learning into the next level as this job provides the opportunity to manage the end to end supply chain.
The Supply Chain Planner plays a critical role for Mashreq UFS as it sits in the heart of UFS cross-functional business teams working with Marketing, CD, Finance, Local & imported Sourcing Units, Customers & Regional teams to ensure all UFS range is available at the right time with the right quantities with the lowest Cost, desired quality and highest Customer Service levels.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Demand Planning:
Use Secondary Sales Data to generate baseline with Capgemini
Lead and help CD team build a realistic forecast in line with the historical data and future trends
Improve forecast accuracy & forecast bias and maintain their loss trees
Lead & ensure full implementation of S&OP process
Review the aggregate short-term volume forecast and highlight gaps, risks and opportunities
Generate Unconstrained Shipment plan for Supply Capability Review
Supply Planning:
Communicate the consolidated demand plan to the respective SUs both local & foreign
Act as the single point of contact and streamline all communications with the respective SUs
Assure that SUs are servicing our demand
Ensure all our SUs are having the needed capacity to service our ambitious business growth
Manage Inbound shipments from the point of placing order till delivery at our warehouse
Challenge and try to sort out any supply risk
Facilitate trade-offs where possible to achieve monthly financial targets
Provide a proper outlook of the confirmed supply plan to the business for the cash up
Run and maintain stock models and ensure maintainingoptimal inventory levels for all SKUs
Proactively monitor Near Expiry, Slow moving & obsolete stocks and ensure right actions in place
Ensure fair allocation of supply between local & export markets
Customer Service:
Generate Primary shipment plan for month Zero in light of confirmed Supply
Ensure full range availability at the right time with the right quantities to meet agreed shipment plan
Ensure the highest service levels and maintain DR/CCFOT losses
Innovations Planning
Lead SC part in all UFS innovations including:
Helping CD & Marketing with business case & volumes assumptions
Managing liquidations and Phase-in/Phase out
Sealing launch dates and ensuring landing innovations on time in full
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
ESSENTIAL:
2-5 years of experience in any of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Service or general Supply Chain
PREFERED:
experience in both Demand & Supply Planning
Skills
ESSENTIAL
University degree in Engineering, Logistics or Business Administration
Fluent in English
Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office applications
Understanding of S&OP cycle
Good communication skills
PREFERRED:
SAP or any ERP system knowledge is preferable
Preferably no military obligation for male candidates
Good working knowledge of Supply Chain Processes
