JOB PURPOSE:

This role will manage all aspects of the P&L and Balance sheet within Turkey Ice Cream Manufacturing undertaking activities such as budgeting, stock controls, management of production cost in category P&L, CAPEX management, audit and controls and support Site teams on cost management. This role is required to maintain strong accounting controls aligned with the Global Financial Controls Framework (GFCF) and support the factory to deliver results aligned with pre-set targets linked to the Supply Chain KPIs.

This role is also required to support the Factories with financial insights to deliver key projects and business cases throughout the year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will include the responsibilities in the following areas:

•            Being responsible for the factory budgets means ensuring OTIF preparation and completion of monthly actual and forecast cycle, understanding the cost movements in detail and developing necessary and relevant analysis for all relevant stakeholders.

•            Leading budget review meetings with the Sourcing Unit; sharing insights and outcomes with IC SC & Finance Leads and members.

•            Collaborating with all departments to gather budget inputs, and ensure alignment with operational plans.

•            Providing necessary financial support and direction; and making the right interventions to ensure the successful delivery of cost and Capex targets in Turkey.

•            Active management of Capex, leading decisions through DCFs and managing trade-offs to achieve the target.

•            Closely tracking the saving initiatives.

•            Active involvement in establishing mid & long-term Supply Chain strategies.

•            Strategically influence senior stakeholders to deliver the Supply Chain goals by showing and managing risks and opportunities pro-actively.

•            Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

•            Ensuring the right control framework is in place in the factory.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:  

Experiences & Qualifications

 The successful candidate will have:

•             Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related areas)

•             Minimum 4 years relevant experience

•             Commercial and Financial acumen is a must

•             Understanding of Finance, Accounting and Supply Chain

•             SAP & Excel knowledge is must

•             Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

•             Effective communication and interpersonal skills

•             Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

•             Effective prioritizing and can-do attitude

•             Great analytical power and actionable insights generation

•             Good understanding on finance processes and operations

As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
